‘Saturday Night Live,’ Justin Bieber overtake Saturday Prime Time!!

“Saturday Night Live” scored a 5.6 household rating last night, according to preliminary ratings released this morning.
The NBC show, which was hosted by Dana Carvey, did better than any broadcast in prime time. The biggest show from 8 to 11 p.m. was an “NCIS” repeat on CBS with a 4.0 household rating.
NBC crowed that last night’s “SNL” was 4 percent ahead of the show on the comparable night last year.
Carvey welcomed former cast mates Mike Myers and Jon Lovitz as well as surprise guest Justin Bieber. Linkin Park was the musical guest.
In prime time Saturday, CBS drew 5.6 million viewers and edged Fox with 5.4 million. Disney-owned ABC drew 4.6 million, and NBC attracted 4.2 million. But Fox easily won the 18-to-49 age group. ABC was second. CBS and NBC tied for third.
